Healing is not a transaction and not everyone proceeds beyond consultation.
Healing is a process that requires time, precision, and disciplined clinical judgment.
At Alypos Regenerative Pain & Wellness care is delivered through a deliberate, physician-performed approach focused on restoring function, reducing pain, and supporting long-term recovery. Every evaluation is performed personally by the physician and each treatment is shaped by anatomy, biology, and the individual patient— rather than standardized protocols or volume-based models.
Precision at Alypos reflects a commitment to accuracy, anatomy, and disciplined clinical judgment—not a high-volume, one-size-fits-all approach. Diagnostic reasoning, image guidance (including ultrasound), and longitudinal assessment inform decision-making at every stage.
Many clinics offering regenerative therapies are structured around predefined treatment pathways—often emphasizing procedure selection early in the process. While this model may provide efficiency, it can overlook the complexity of musculoskeletal diagnosis and the importance of precise targeting.
At Alypos, treatment is not the starting point.
Care begins with a detailed physician evaluation, incorporating clinical history, physical examination, and real-time ultrasound assessment to better define the underlying pain generator.
Only after this process is complete are treatment options considered.
In some cases, regenerative therapies such as platelet-rich plasma or other biologic approaches may be appropriate. In others, alternative strategies—or no procedural intervention—may be recommended.
This approach reflects a commitment to diagnostic accuracy, individualized care, and long-term clinical reasoning rather than protocol-driven treatment.
Because treatment decisions are made only after careful evaluation, the initial consultation is a central part of the Alypos care model.
This visit allows time to:
• Obtain a thorough History
• Review prior imaging and records when available
• Perform a detailed musculoskeletal and functional examination
• Utilize ultrasound dynamically
• Define the underlying pain generator and contrinuting factors
• Integrate your goals, prior treatment experience and expectations into clinical decision–making
The objective is clarity before intervention.
In select cases involving complex or centrally mediated pain patterns, adjunctive pharmacologic modulation may be considered as part of a broader treatment strategy.
This may include the selective use of ketamine in carefully evaluated patients where heightened central sensitization, procedural intolerance, or refractory pain mechanisms are present.
Ketamine is not offered as a stand-alone therapy, is not appropriate for all patients, and is considered only after comprehensive physician evaluation within the context of an individualized care plan.
In specific clinical circumstances, intravenous support may be incorporated as an adjunct care to support recovery, physiologic resilience, or treatment tolerance.
IV therapy is not menu-based or standardized and is considered only after physician evaluation when oral strategies are insufficient or impractical due to absorption limitations, increased physiologic demand, or active medical stressors.
At Alypos intravenous support is used only as an adjunct in nature and is not offered as a stand-alone wellness service.
Care at Alypos is intentionally structured to remain personal and consistent. Evaluations, procedures, and follow-up are performed by the physician, ensuring continuity and direct clinical accountability throughout the course of care.
Unlike high-volume clinics or multi-provider practices, Alypos maintains a low-volume model so Dr. Bernhardt can dedicate extended time to each patient—ensuring no handoffs, no shortcuts, and truly personalized regenerative and adjunct therapies.
This model supports careful execution, patient understanding, and thoughtful long-term planning.
The Alypos approach is best suited for patients who value thoughtful evaluation over rapid intervention, prefer precision and individualized care, and seek durable improvement rather than temporary relief.
This approach is not designed for rapid, protocol-driven treatment or pre-packaged programs without comprehensive evaluation and longitudinal physician involvement. A consultation does not guarantee a procedure will be recommended.
Alypos does not proceed with treatment when advanced care is unlikely to provide durable benefit, regardless of patient preference.

Not every patient requires regenerative treatment but every patient deserves a precise diagnosis.
