IV Clinical Support

IV support at Alypos Regenerative Pain & wellness is incorporated as adjunctive medical support within a broader, individualized care framework. It is focused on supporting recovery, physiologic resilience, and metabolic health when clinically appropriate.

When indicated, intravenous administration may offer more predictable bioavailability than oral supplementation, particularly in settings of increased physiologic demand, impaired gastrointestinal absorption, or active medical stressors.

IV clinical support is applied within a broader philosophy that respects modern physiology and the body's inherent capacity for restorative recovery.

IV Therapy at Alypos

IV Clinical support at Alypos is not a standalone wellness service.

It is incorporated selectively with any broader physician – directed care strategy that may include regenerative procedures, interventional pain management, Neuro, modulation, and metabolic optimization.

In different, clinical contexts, IV therapy may support tissue recovery following regenerative procedures, enhance physiologic resilience in chronic pain conditions, compliment neuro modulatory treatment plans including infusion–based therapies, and help matain metabolic stability during GLP –1 based weight management.

Each application is individualized and guided by clinical assessment rather than fixed infusion formulas or packaged offerings.

A Measured, Clinical Approach

IV therapy at Alypos is not a preset vitamin menu or volume-driven infusion model. Every infusion is designed by Dr. Brian Bernhardt, a triple board-certified aesthesiologist and interventional pain specialist, following thoughtful clinicl evaluation and, when appropriate, laboratory review.

Protocols are individualized to support recovery, regenerative care, complex pain conditions. and metabolic health.

Protocols are adjusted over time based on clinical response, tolerance, and objective markers— rather than fixed formulas or packaged offerings.

Treatment goals guide decision-making at every stage.

IV Therapy in Pain & Regenerative Medicine

In selected patients, IV clinical support may be incorporated alongside regenerative or interventional therapies to optimize recovery, reduce physiologic stress, and support tissue repair.

Nutrient repletion, hydration optimization, and targeted metabolic support may be considered in patients undergoing regenerative procedures, managing chronic pain, or recovering from periods of heightened physiologic demand.

IV therapy is used as adjunctive medical support — not as a substitute for definitive diagnosis or targeted treatment.

Clinical Applications

IV therapy may be incorporated as an adunct following acute illness, prolonged travel, or significant sleep disruption when dehydration or nutrient depletion is suspected.

When appropriate, IV therapy may be used adjunctively alongside other treatments offered within the practice. This adjunctive support complements regenerative and interventional therapies by optimizing physiologic resilience.

GLP-1 Support and Tolerance Optimization

IV Therapy may support tolerance and mitigate common challenges (such as nausea, gastrointestinal intolerance, fatigue, dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, or micronutrient depletion) in patients using GLP-1-based therapies elsewhere.

Supportive strategies are individualized and, when appropriate, informed by laboratory data, with the goal of improving sustainability rather than accelerating treatment.

IV Versus Oral Supplementation

Compared with oral supplementation, IV therapy may provide more predictable bioavailability in situations where absorption, timing, or physiologic demand limit effectiveness.

The decision to use IV rather than oral strategies is made on an individual basis following clinical evaluation.

An Integrated Experience

IV therapy at Alypos is delivered in a calm, clinical environment consistent with the rest of the practice.

Care is designed to be efficient, comfortable, and intentionally unhurried, without adopting spa-based or volume-driven models

Consultation

IV therapy begins with a consultation. Recommendations are individualized based on clinical assessment and, when appropriate, laboratory findings.
